The teachers of Y.E.S are definitely the best; they are also loving and caring. They are patient, gentle and understanding.
The kids at Y.E.S have fun learning and doing projects that the teachers assign them. The teachers do not only teach the children, they befriend them.

Question: How does it feel to be a teacher?
Ms. Sostchin: It's very exciting because all the children learn things.

Question: Do you like teaching in Y.E.S.? Why?
Mrs. Matz: I love teaching in Y.E.S. because the students are the greatest, the Principals are amazing and there is such a friendly atmosphere here.

Question: Why do you like teaching?
Coach Siegel: Because I get a lot of money (joking).

Question: Out of all the subjects you teach, which one do you like the best? Why?
Mrs. Greenberg: Parsha (weekly Torah portion) because they girls enjoy it the most.
Mrs. Matz: I don't have a favorite subject. Each one is special.

Question: How long have you been in Y.E.S.?
Mrs. Greenberg: I have been teaching for 6 years.
Mrs. Matz: 4 years.
Ms. Sostchin: This year has been my 5th year teaching and my 7th year working in this school.

Question: Do you find yourself priviledged to be able to teach the oldest class?
Mrs. Matz: Yes.

Question: How do you react when someone passes a note in class and you catch her?
Ms. Sostchin: I take away the note, read it and keep it.

Question: Is it fun to assign games for children?
Coach Siegel: Yes, as long as they don't annoy me (laughter).

Question: Are the kids annoying when you take them on trips?
Coach Siegel: Yes, but I wear my ear plugs to drown out their noses (laughter).

Question: In your opinion, what is the best thing about this school?
Mrs. Greenberg: That the children are so happy to be here.
