At Mishmar the fifth graders go downstairs at 4:00 and they play sports until 4:40. Then Rabbi Karmel tells a marvelous story until 5:00. Meanwhile the sixth graders have class until 5:00. Then the sixth graders go downstairs with the fifth grade, and they have pizza and soda until 5:20. After we bentch, we go upstairs to the first grade classroom for learning. Rabbi Karmel and Rabbi Adler switch off every week for teaching. We have finished Kibud Av Vaeim (honoring your mother and father). We have also been discussing how you should treat your friends with Derech Eretz. We learn until 6:00p.m. Before we leave to go home every week, Mrs. Karmel makes delicious treats for each boy and boy are they delicious!

So that is how Mishmar goes every Thursday night.
